Tourist mayday launches for travellers worldwide

Here’s a note about the site from those that have launched it:

Hello out there in the great world of traveling,

Some days ago, we started our website http://www.touristmayday.com. While we hope that none of you out there will ever have the need of using this website, we  would like to introduce it to you.

http://www.touristmayday.com is a! Free! Emergency directory for tourists and front desks worldwide.

Tourists facing the sad experience of having passport and/or credit cards stolen or lost can use the directory on our website to quickly gather all important phone numbers and addresses needed to contact their embassy/consulate and the credit card company to cancel the stolen documents or cards. No more searching for phone numbers or addresses! A few clicks on the country and nationality link and all information are available.

All the worlds countries are working with links to the websites of Embassies or the Foreign Ministry directories for citizens of Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and The United States. All sites also include the links to cancel credit card and traveler’s checks at Visa, MasterCard, Am-ex and Diners.

Travel warnings, recommendations about safe traveling, a blog, a forum and videos are also featured.
