The Agnes Waters Blues and Roots Festival is set to kick off at the SES grounds on Feb 24-26, so get your skates on and head to the delightful coastal Queensland town for a weekend of fun and good music.
Highlights include Diesel, Bondi Cigars, Dave Wilson Trio, Bluesville Station and more. Costs are $80 for a one day pass, $110 three days.
See www.agnesbluesandroots.com.au for more details.
Those that haven’t been to Agnes Waters before this is your opportunity. And if you can’t make the festival consider a visit at some other time. We listed this place in our 2010 list of places you should see. Why? Because it’s a little known gem with both rainforest and reef to choose from. Not only is it close to the Great Barrier Reef but it also has fabulous beaches great for surfing, swimming, sailing or even 4WDing. You can also bushwalk, kayaking, fishing, birdwatching or kick back and relax in this place.
