Today around the world people will be celebrating all things Irish with much gusto as St Patrick’s Day gets underway.
Whether that be through drinking something green, eating something Irish, donning a big hat, joining in a parade, heading to an Irish pub or sporting a shamrock; we hope you get into the spirit of the day.

It’s that time of the year folks in which we’ve already surpassed thinking of the year that’s passed and start thinking about the year ahead. 1. Sydney, Australia
The perennial backpacker favourite won’t alter its status in 2010. If you’re arriving in Australia this is a good place to base for work, the climate is great and there’s plenty to see and do, plus there’s gnarly events all year like the Mardi Gras and New Year’s fireworks.
I’m back at home now recovering from my 10 weeks on the road. I’ve washed my clothes, dusted out my pack, displayed my souvenirs and showed photos to anyone that shows the slightest interest; but really the memories of travel are already starting to fade with the return to routine.
